Joseph Giles are designers, manufacturers and global trade suppliers of beautiful door, window and cabinet hardware for exclusive luxury residential and hospitality projects. Their initial discussion with us was driven by a desire to build a lasting relationship with their key customers. Their audience spans more than one type so we recommended creating subsets of targets, starting with interior designers, so that we could tailor messages appropriately and more easily measure success through conversion to website registration.

In order to effectively communicate and engage it was important to understand what future communication the audience would find interesting and useful so the programme of activities kicked off with qualitative research with interior designers to gain understanding of their experiences of working with Joseph Giles, their perceptions of the brand and products and what they thought would be insightful and supportive communication. We were able to elicit frank feedback from these key clients and this knowledge was broken down into channel, company and marketing insights which fed into the proposed communications activities. Success in terms of increased engagement and registration has been achieved through the creation of valuable content which has been promoted through online and social channels
