Design of Marketing Collateral
As one of the largest annual exhibitions for the global technology sector, GITEX plays afundamental part for our client, Fujitsu PFU Imaging Solutions, in demonstrating their latest scanning technologies. Following the success of GITEX 2013, Inhabit was delighted to again be tasked with maximising Fujitsu’s presence at the exhibition, held at the Dubai World Trade Centre in 2014 and 2015.
Since 2013, the Inhabit team has been involved in every element of this project from start to finish. From the initial discussions and research into understanding Fujitsu’s objectives to designing and building an eye-catching stand showcasing a vast range of products and the creation of supporting print and digital marketing collateral. We were there every step of the way; taking care of hotel accommodation bookings, organising an exclusive evening event and capturing everything via stills and video footage for use on various social media channels. Dedicated project managers provide support for the entirety of the exhibition, including during the build and breakdown, to ensure everything runs smoothly.
For GITEX 2013, Inhabit created a brand identity to visualise one of Fujitsu’s key messages – the migration of physical content into digital content, enabling customers to duplicate and distribute the information in a manner which is flexible, efficient and environmentally favourable.
The tagline ‘document & digitise: free knowledge’ and visual brand identity encapsulates the essence of this message - to free information and therefore knowledge that is locked up in paper and make it easily accessible in a cost efficient and time-saving way. The ‘Migrating Bird’ symbol mark illustrates this freedom, showing the transition from a solid piece of paper into the digital origami bird which neatly references Fujitsu’s Japanese heritage.
This brand identity was so well received at GITEX 2013 that it was kept for both 2014 and 2015. Each year we bring to life this recognisable identity in fresh ways for the stand and in all marketing collateral.
